Members of the 21st Explosive Ordinance Disposal conducted a Fast Rope Insertion and Extraction System exercise at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, Feb. 5, 2026. The training consists of rappelling from towers to simulate rappelling out of helicopters for infiltration/exfil on an objective as part of their mandated mission set.
