    This is a interview of Maj. Cindy Lord, commanding officer of 71 Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Unit and her son Lance Cpl. James Hill, an infantryman with 3rd Battalion, 3rd marine Regiment. Hill was flown in from southern Helmand province to see his mother’s promotion to Major. The two have not seen each other in the two years after Hill had graduated from Marine basic training. 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines has been deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan for six months. Hill and Lord are from Oklahoma City. Hill is stationed at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Lord is stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia. Also available in high definition.
