U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Johnpaul Tuquero, a communications maintenance shop chief with Headquarters and Service Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, presents advanced manufacturing projects currently in progress to Brig. Gen. Maura Hennigan commanding general of 2nd MLG, at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Dec. 30, 2025. Tuquero used his passion for 3D printing to identify diverse concerns throughout 2d MLG's communication gear and print creative solutions to increase mission readiness. Advanced manufacturing enhances expeditionary forces to be more agile, adaptive, and self-reliant while increasing combat power by reducing regeneration periods.
