U.S. Marines with School of Infantry – East, Infantry Training Battalion, conduct live fire qualification with the M2A1 .50-caliber heavy machine gun on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 22, 2025. Marines fired the M2A1 from a mounted Joint Light Tactical Vehicle and sharpened their tactical skills in limited visibility night fire as part of their qualification for the military occupational specialty as a basically qualified infantrymen for service in the Fleet Marine Forces.
