U.S. Marines with 12th Littoral Combat Team, 12th Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, execute a live-fire short bay range on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 29, 2025. The Marines executed demolition ranges, close quarters battle drills, and live-fire ranges during the Range 170 series to enhance proficiency in individual skills and high-pressure scenarios. The live-fire range included a workout circuit and grappling beforehand to simulate combat stressors, better preparing Marines for future engagements and increasing overall lethality.
