39th and 79th Rescue Squadron Airmen and Marines from Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, Marine Air Control Group 38, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, load gear and personnel onto an HC-130J Combat King II during Exercise Steel Knight 25 at Los Alamitos Army Airfield, California, Dec. 7, 2025. This training strengthens the coordination required to safely move joint personnel and equipment in support of exercise objectives. Steel Knight is a joint exercise that improves interoperability, boosts readiness, and enhances coordination across the battle space.
