International guests, observers and participants attend the push ceremony of Operation Christmas Drop 2025 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Dec. 8, 2025. The push ceremony kicked off airdrop missions for OCD25, in which each nation participating coordinated and delivered 270 bundles to 59 remote islands in the Federal States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau. Being the longest-running humanitarian mission in the Department of War, OCD25 serves as a training opportunity for aircrew in low-level flight, precision airdrop techniques and logistical coordination – skills developed to gain rapid global airlift missions in the U.S. Air Force.
