34 years ago, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa's (SETAF-AF) 3rd Battalion, 325th Infantry (Airborne) paratroopers played a vital role in securing humanitarian operations in Northern Iraq, providing security for Kurdish refugees. They delivered security, safeguarded aid and protected Kurdish refugees returning home, all part of Operation Provide Comfort.
