U.S. Marines with 12th Littoral Logistics Battalion, 12th Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, and other III Marine Expeditionary Force units create improvised shape charges during a demolition range in Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 12, 2025. This range tested the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Marines’ skills by challenging them to create effective breaching charges using only items they might have in their packs or find in the surrounding area, rather than relying on their usual charges.
