U.S. Airmen assigned to the 96th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron conduct a Bomber Task Force mission with the B-52 Stratofortress over the U.S. European Command area of responsibility, Nov. 12, 2025. Their flight included aerial refueling from a U.S. KC-135 Stratotanker and formation flight with local partner nations, including German Air Force Eurofighter Typhoons and a NATO E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning Air Control System. BTF 26-1 is one of many combined operations through which U.S. Airmen work alongside NATO Allies and partners, strengthening cooperation on regional and global scales to amplify multinational combat power.
