U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 909th Air Refueling Squadron conducted an aerial refueling with a KC-135 Stratotanker in support of a base-wide exercise over the pacific ocean, Japan, Nov. 4, 2025. Multiple F-35A Lightning IIs assigned to the 356th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, and F-16C Fighting Falcon assigned to the 119th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, were refueled in the air demonstrating the cohesive team work between deployed units at Kadena to ensure mission readiness and support ongoing operations across the Indo-Pacific region.
