Dolan Walsh, commander of Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, Task Force Iron, interviews after an M109A6 Paladin howitzer Table VI certification at Orzysz Training Area, Poland, Oct. 3, 2025. During the live-fire exercise, Paladins engaged targets over 15 kilometers away from the firing point. Task force Iron’s mission is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent to increase lethality while strengthening partnerships with NATO allies and regional security partners.
