The 102nd Cavalry Regiment is a New Jersey Army National Guard unit headquartered in Newark with a wartime history including World War II service at Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge, and modern-day deployments to Iraq, Jordan, and Somalia. On Sept. 12, 2025, the 102 CAV conducted rifle zero training on ASA Fort Dix Range 18B as a prerequisite to rifle qualification.
