U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) and the 173rd Airborne Brigade staff train on spectrum analysis equipment in Vicenza, Italy, Sept. 9, 2025. SETAF-AF and the 173rd Airborne Brigade used the Carabinieri counter-IED training program, in conjunction with the Center of Excellence for Stability Police Units (CoESPU), to test spectrum analysis equipment designed for frequency monitoring, gaining valuable data in a realistic environment while supporting the readiness of Italian allies.
