Soldiers of the Illinois National Guard came together from Aug. 18 - 21 to compete in The Adjutant General's Match 2025 (TAG Match). The TAG Match's purpose is to promote marksmanship skills through competition. The TAG Match is made up of various M-4 Rifle and M-17 pistol shooting events that allow Soldiers to put into practice their ability to move, communicate to their team, and fire their weapon at different distances. In the 2025 TAG match, nearly 50 competitors and 12 teams competed over four days.
