U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers with 4th Joint Communications Squadron (4JCS), recently competed and tested their physical and battlefield communication skills during the “Mustang Challenge,” an annual event held at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, FL on July 17-19, 2025. The Mustang Challenge is an annual event conducted by JCSE's 4JCS to test and challenge their teams'(Mike Troop, Kilo Troop, and Juliet Troop) regarding Warrior Tasks and Technical Proficiencies for bragging rights, but more importantly, it allows the Squadron to assess their readiness from a different perspective. This year, the Mustangs conducted a qualification range and competed for the best time in a land navigation course, 4-mile ruck, stress shoot event, HF radio, and communication node event.
