U.S. Marines, with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron VMM-265 (Rein.), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct live-fire range, aboard a U.S. Marine Corps UH-Y1 Venom during a live-fire range in Queensland, Australia, July 16, 2025. Marines conducted the live-fire range to sustain aerial marksmanship and expand mission capabilities. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and partners, while enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
