.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and Sailors assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), decontaminate and treat simulated casualties during chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear, enroute care training as a part of Talisman Sabre 25, aboard America, in the Coral Sea, July 18, 2025. The medical drill was conducted to evaluate CBRN specialists, corpsmen and ship surgeons’ response-and triage tactics while providing medical care underway. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and partners, while enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
