STAFF SERGEANT EARL DANIELS, JR.
UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS
Born 20 Jan 1940 in Thomasville, GA, he was killed in action on 26 Jun 1967 in the vicinity of Quang Nam, Republic of Vietnam. He was presented with the Bronze Star Medal in connection with operations against enemy forces in Vietnam as the Platoon Sergeant, First Platoon, Company G,
Second Battalion, First Marines, First Marine Division.
He gallantly gave his life for this country.
This challenge is to honor him and push the marines past their limits.
