SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador – More than 50 international forces trained to provide care under fire through a series of instruction and hands-on demonstration culminating in an exercise in Ilopango, El Salvador, June 19-20, 2025. The training was part of the ongoing AMISTAD campaign, a mission across Central and South America intended to strengthen partnerships and enable U.S. and host nation medical professionals to cooperate in resource-constrained environments.
