A mortar team of U.S. Army soldiers from 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT), 23rd Infantry Regiment, conduct equipment checks to ensure operational readiness, maneuver to higher ground for tactical advantage, establish security, and execute a simulated counterstrike during a Combined Arms Live Fire Exercise (CALFEX) at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex (RLFC), Republic of Korea, on Feb. 18, 2025. The training exercise enhanced force readiness, sharpened weapons proficiency, and strengthened combined military cooperation, reinforcing the ability to "Fight Tonight" through realistic combat scenarios focused on defending the Korean Peninsula.
