Video story highlighting recovery efforts on Phou Pha Thi mountain, Laos, Jan. 16-Feb. 11, 2025, during the 25-2LA joint field activity. On March 10, 1968, 11 Airmen were killed in action there, which was the largest single ground-combat loss of U.S. Air Force personnel during the Vietnam War. More than 50 years later, the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency continues to search for eight of those Airmen. (U.S. Air Force video by Staff Sgt. Blake Gonzales)
