Hurricane Helene brought historic flooding to East Tennessee, but it also brought out many volunteers from across the state. Both Airmen and Soldiers are commuting to surrounding areas daily to help clear debris and give assistance to local residents. 134th Logistics Readiness Squadron Tech. Sgt. Eric Lewis has called Tennessee home for over 20 years and when the call volunteers came, he immediately answered. A material management craftsman by trade, Lewis has been working in various areas with his fellow Tennessee National Guardsmen to help restore these impacted communities. (U. S.
