In honor of National POW/MIA Recognition Day on Friday, Sept. 20, Luke AFB hosted its annual 24-hr POW/MIA run vigil.
During the closing ceremony, guest speaker Col. Philip E. Smith (Ret.) said he survived being a prisoner of war by taking it one day at a time. His strength and resilience, and the strength and resilience of all POW/MIA service members, will never be forgotten. (U.S. Air Force video by Daniel Eby)
