Col. Wendy Squarcia, 170th Group commander presides over the ceremony redesignating the 238th Combat Training Squadron to a Reconnaissance Squadron on Oct. 18, 2024 at Offutt Air Force Base. The squadron will keep the training mission but will also now have a combat mission allowing them to deploy worldwide to support the 55th Wing’s intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions.
