Thunderdome is DISA’s answer to the warfighter’s need for zero trust and enhances the traditional defense-in-depth security model by assuming that no user or device is trustworthy by default. Access is granted only after verification of the identity and security posture of the user or device. Thunderdome is an example of DISA’s steadfast commitment to deterring our nation’s adversaries through IT and cyber development, while accelerating efforts to connect and protect our warfighters in cyberspace.
