Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) attend the Montmartin-En-Graignes Memorial Ceremony on June 3, 2024 to pay tribute to the 327th Glider Infantry Regiment and 175th Infantry Regiment that helped liberate the town from Nazi control on June 13th, 1944. The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) is forever linked to the people of Normandy, especially Carentan. The division fought and sacrificed for the freedom and peace that exists today in France.
