Caroline Baxter, deputy assistant secretary of defense for force education and training, provided a key note address during the 2024 Department of the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Summit in San Antonio, Texas, May 8, 2024. Baxter serves as the principal senior authority on the development of Department of Defense policy on all issues related to military education and training across the joint force. The summit provided a forum for sharing information and ideas and connected modeling and simulation professionals across the Department of Defense, industry, academia and international partners. The conference aligns with Air Force priority to “follow through” on the enterprise’s training transformation, as the United States Air Force officials collaborate with modeling and simulation experts to support the Air Force’s training mission more efficiently and effectively.
