Competitors complete a physical assessment on the first day of the 2024 Region 7 Best Warrior Competition at Camp San Luis Obispo, Calif., May 5, 2024. The event is based on the Army’s Expert Soldier Badge physical assessment: 1 mile run, 30 hand release pushups, 100-meter sprint, 16 med ball tosses, 50-meter kettle bell carry, 25-meter-high crawl, 25-meter rush and run ending with a final 1-mile run.
