On April 24, 2024, during Exercise Balikatan 24 at Fort Magsaysay Philippines, U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 25th Infantry Division and Australian Army soldiers from 1st Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment, take part in the Australian New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) memorial, remembering the Australian and New Zealand service personnel who have fallen in the line of duty. BK 24 is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
