17 Ohio Army National Guard Soldiers, alongside seven competitors from the Hungarian Defense Forces and Serbian Armed Forces participated in the 2024 Ohio Army National Guard State Best Warrior Competition at Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center in Newton Falls, Ohio, April 5 - April 7, 2024.
The BWC was a three day competition that tested the competitors physical and mental abilities through challenging events including the stress shoot, expert physical fitness assessment, and call for fire. The OHARNG Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year will represent Ohio at the Regional BWC May 2024.
