U.S. Army Sgt. Ivan Roe, competes at the USA Shooting Smallbore Olympic Trials - Part 3 at Fort Moore, Georgia March 17-19. The Manhattan, Montana native is seeking a spot on Team USA for the 50m Smallbore, or Three-Position Rifle, event at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Roe, who is a marksmanship instructor/competitive shooter with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit International Rifle Team, is already qualified to compete in Paris in the Men's 10m Air Rifle event. If he qualifies in Smallbore, he will represent the Nation in two events.
This will be Roe's first Olympics.
