More than 230 Soldiers from across the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, and U.S. Army National Guard, as well as cadets from the U.S. Army ROTC are here at Fort Moore, Georgia competing in the 2024 U.S. Army Small Arms Championships. The annual, week-long training event, hosted by the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, tests Soldiers' ability on both their primary and secondary weapon systems. The overall goal is to improve unit readiness.
