Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) hosted the 2023 Military Instructor of the Year Awards Ceremony on March 6, 2024. The ceremony honored exemplary service members across various ranks and commands. Among the distinguished winners were: Junior Enlisted OS2(SW) Japonica Stallings from Surface Combat Systems Training Command in Great Lakes; Mid-Grade Enlisted IS1(IW/SW/AW) Brandonjoe Juan from Information Warfare Training Command in Virginia Beach; Senior Enlisted ABEC(AW/SW) Dayne Walton from Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes; Officer LT Amanda Brown from Information Warfare Training Command in Virginia Beach; NROTC Captain Amish Smith representing Naval ROTC Units at the University of Idaho and Washington State University. Rear Admiral Jeffrey J. Czerewko, Commander of Naval Education and Training Command, delivered an inspiring address.
