Soldiers and Airmen with the Ohio National Guard Homeland Response Force undergo a Federal Emergency Management Agency Region V external evaluation (EXEVAL) exercise at Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center in Newton Falls, Ohio, July 17-23, 2023. The FEMA Region V HRF is designed for immediate activation to support and assist local civil authorities to save lives and mitigate human suffering following a catastrophic event.
