ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 15, 2023) A landing craft air cushion assigned to Assault Craft Unit 2 enters the well deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) during well deck operations. Bataan is the flagship for Commander, Amphibious Squadron EIGHT (PHIBRON) 8 and is currently underway for the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit exercise.
