Djangmah, an avionics technician with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 261 (REIN), speaks about his upbringing and reason he joined the Marine Corps while deployed at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Dec. 15, 2023. Djangmah, a native of Accra, Ghana, was inspired by his brother to join the Marine Corps after graduating high school in Queens, New York, and intends to reenlist when eligible.
