PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - Two leadership forum events concurrently took place here; the 2023 Army Reserve Medical Command (AR-MEDCOM) Command Sergeant Major Readiness Workshop from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, and the 2023 AR-MEDCOM Senior Leader Forum from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. The CSM Readiness Workshop brought together Command Sergeants Majors from Medical Readiness and Training Command (MRTC), Medical Training Brigades (MTBs), Medical Area Readiness Support Groups (MARSGs) and Medical Operational Readiness Units (MORUs) to provide and discuss readiness and training requirements to ensure a proactive stance to mobilizations. Comparatively, the Senior Leader Forum addressed the need for re-structural overhaul and modernization of AR-MEDCOM units to become ready for potential Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO) and Large-Scale Mobilization Operations (LSMO).
