U.S. Army 1st. Lt. Marlie Hess, a Soldier assigned to the 436th Movement Control Battalion currently deployed to Powidz, Poland, attended a community holiday event at a local school in Witkowo, Dec. 11, 2023. The 436th MCB Soldiers decorated cookies and participated in holiday activities with the children. The Soldiers are deployed as part of a rotation of forces to Poland to support multinational training and operations, enhance interoperability and contingency response capabilities with allies and partners, and deter adversaries in the European theater.
