The crews aboard Coast Guard Cutters Alder and Terrell Horne participated in Galapex 2023 off the coast of Ecuador and Peru, Sept. 21 - 26, 2023. Led by Ecuador and taking place near the Galapagos Islands, this multi-national maritime exercise brought together representatives and delegates from 13 different countries to strengthen interoperability through training, maritime security doctrine, logistics and communications.
