Five U.S. Marines - Colonel Maria McMillen, Major Vanesa E. Sigala, Gunnery Sgt Frances L. Leon and Corporal Anna Paola Rincones Urbina - were recognized at the National Latina Symposium in Washington D.C., Sept. 21, 2023. The Marines were recognized for their professional achievements and patriotic service. Since 2004, more than 190 Latina servicewomen have been recognized by Latina Style, Inc. for their exemplary record, commitment and excellence in service.
