U.S. Coast Guard aircrews rescue a hunter reported missing near Wales, Alaska Sept. 13, 2023. A Coast Guard HC-130 Hercules aircrew from Air Station Kodiak dropped survival equipment before a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Forward Operating Station Kotzebue safely hoisted the hunter and transported him to the Wales airport for medical treatment.
