The Vermont National Guard hosted an open house at Camp Johnson in Colchester Vermont, September 9. The open house included demonstrations, simulators, the Norwich Silent Drill Team, and food trucks. It was a great opportunity for the local community to get to know more about the National Guard and how it operates. Events like these are also educational in nature, helping the public understand the vital work that the National Guard does in response to emergencies, disaster relief, and national defense.
