Chief Warrant Officer 2 Maksym Zymin is the mission commander for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District temporary emergency power mission on Maui. Zymin provides guidance, expertise and coordination of the Power Planning and Response team activities for the response. The power team oversees the Federal Emergency Management generators providing temporary emergency power to critical facilities and infrastructure on Maui following the Hawai’i Wildfires, Aug. 8.
