U.S. Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Nicholas Dubey, a horizontal construction engineer with the 996th Engineering Company, leads a squad on a convoy route at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, Aug. 20, 2023. Dubey and his squad face multiple injects including chemical gas, improvised explosive devices, injured Soldiers, and an ambush. The training included a walk, crawl, run phase to prepare the Soldiers for real-life situations.
