SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Feb.5, 2020 - In recognition of the cultural and historical value of photographs as a means of perpetuating social identity after a disaster, we recently coordinated a conference on their preservation and conservation. This three-day conference consisted of intensive workshops and the participation of over 60 specialists in the field of photography. The workshops and lecture were given by Debra Hess Norris, professor at the University of Delaware.FEMA/Eduardo MartÃnez
