U.S. Air Force pararescuemen with the 131st Rescue Squadron, 129th Rescue Wing, California Air National Guard perform an overwater rescue operation to render aid to a fisherman who sustained serious head injury onboard a fishing vessel more that 750 miles off the coast of Costa Rica, July 8, 2023. The pararescuemen parachuted with medical supplies and equipment from an HC-130J Combat King II aircraft to reach the vessel and provide medical assistance to the patient.
