U.S. Army Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), are taught how to repel by Romanian Forces June 27, 2023, in Romania. 101st Abn. Div. while famous for fast roping out of helicopters, got a taste of what it was like in Task Force Mountain under the 10th Mountain Division, as they developed their mountaineering skills. The class was taught over multiple days and included learning how to tie knots, rappel, and climb up a rock wall in preparation for doing the same on a mountain.
