Airmen and Soldiers from the Tennessee National Guard along with Bulgarian Air Force members recently conducted joint airfield operations training at Bezmer Air Base, Bulgaria. The training allowed these NATO allies to learn from one another while improving overall readiness.
Members of the 134th Air Refueling Wing and the 1-107th Airfield Operations Battalion are in Bulgaria as part of Thracian Sentry 23, highlighting the 30-year long partnership between the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense and the Tennessee National Guard.
