Cpl. Nkundimana Binene Claude, now a 2nd Lt. conducted an interview at the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, as part of Integrated Training Exercise 4-23, June 16, 2023. Claude delayed his commissioning ceremony to run Range 400, an event that brings over 300 Marines together to provide support for the maneuver of a single company to assault multiple positions, one last time with his squad at ITX 4-23. As the Marine Corps Reserve's premier annual training event, ITX provides opportunities to mobilize geographically dispersed forces for a deployment; increase combat readiness and lethality; and exercise MAGTF command and control of battalions and squadrons across the full spectrum of warfare.
